Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Children’s House Guide to lead a mixed-age preschool classroom within a Montessori environment that supports concentration, independence, and deep learning.

You will provide individualized and small-group lessons, observe each child's development, and collaborate with families to foster growth while maintaining a warm, professional classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Montessori diploma for ages 3–6 or willingness to obtain certification (fully sponsored).
• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a group learning environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a child-related field and ECE credits.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child closely to understand development and provide support.
• Prepare and maintain an orderly, engaging classroom.
• Encourage independence by guiding children to do tasks themselves.
• Deliver individualized and small-group lessons in practical life, literacy, math, and beyond.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Communicate and collaborate with parents to support each child’s growth.
• Lead with warmth, professionalism, and purpose in the classroom.
