Green Home Solutions of Mount Airy is seeking a Lead Mold Remediation Technician / Crew Lead in Mount Airy, MD. This hands-on role guides a skilled crew to deliver safe mold remediation for homes and businesses, prioritizing healthy indoor environments.

You'll apply containment, EPA-guided treatments, and oversee documentation, safety, and customer communication, driving quality and efficiency on every job.

Formación

• Experience in mold remediation or related field.
• Ability to lead a crew and manage job sites.
• Knowledge of EPA mold remediation guidelines.
• IICRC and ACAC certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Physically able to perform demanding work.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise mold remediation crews on residential and commercial sites.
• Perform mold inspection, containment setup, and full remediation procedures per industry standards.
• Apply EPA-registered antimicrobial treatments and ensure proper application techniques.
• Operate and maintain remediation equipment including air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA vacuums.
• Ensure job site safety, PPE usage, and OSHA compliance.
• Communicate with customers about remediation process and address concerns.
• Complete job documentation and post-remediation reporting.

About the Role:

Green Home Solutions of Mount Airy is looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Mold Remediation Technician / Crew Lead to join our growing team in Mount Airy, MD. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a skilled crew in delivering safe, effective mold remediation solutions to homeowners and businesses. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise mold remediation crews on residential and commercial job sites
• Perform mold inspection, containment setup, and full remediation procedures following industry standards
• Apply EPA-registered antimicrobial treatments and ensure proper product application techniques
• Operate and maintain remediation equipment including air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA vacuums
• Ensure job site safety, proper PPE usage, and compliance with OSHA and industry regulations
• Communicate professionally with customers, explaining the remediation process and addressing concerns
• Complete job documentation, checklists, and post-remediation reporting accurately

Requirements:

• Prior experience in mold remediation, water damage restoration, or a related field required
• Proven ability to lead a crew and manage job site operations independently
• Knowledge of mold remediation protocols, containment procedures, and EPA guidelines
• IICRC certification (WRT, AMRT) certifications preferred
• ACAC certification (CRIE or CIE) certification preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, crawling, and working in confined spaces
