Allure MD Plastic Surgery + Dermatology in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Mohs Micrographic Surgeon (MD/DO) for an independent contractor role. Lead the Mohs service line with on-site histopathology workflow and reconstruction support within a single facility.

Flexible schedule around case volume; you will perform Mohs surgery, read frozen sections, coordinate reconstructions with plastic surgery, and manage pre- and post-operative care under practice protocols.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in Dermatology (or eligibility) and Mohs fellowship.
• Independent Mohs case volume demonstrated in practice.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mohs micrographic surgery for cutaneous malignancies.
• Read intraoperative frozen sections and manage margin control.
• Plan and perform reconstruction or coordinate with plastic surgery team.
• Manage pre-operative consultations, informed consent, and post-operative follow-up.
