TrinityRail Maintenance Services in Shell Rock, IA is seeking a Lead Mobile Equipment Operator for the 2nd shift to supervise ground crew, operate track mobiles and switch engines, and move railcars safely.

You will lead a small team, follow safety rules, work outdoors in all weather, and contribute to continuous improvement. This role requires 2+ years in mobile equipment, plus at least 1 year leading a team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mobile equipment or related operations.
• Strong safety mindset; willingness to follow procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to perform outdoor physical work in all weather.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a team.

Responsabilités

• Operate track mobiles and switch engines.
• Move railcars safely and efficiently.
• Operate switches and verify railcar placement.
• Use technology to review railcar movement.
• Follow safety rules and procedures.
• Participate in safety committees as needed.
• Perform outdoor work in extreme weather.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
