Job summary

Huntington is seeking an exceptional MLOps Automation Engineer Lead to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team in Columbus, OH. You will lead automation of development and delivery processes, crafting unattended pipelines for data and model deployments.

You will guide a team, collaborate with architecture, data engineering, and QA, and deploy production-grade automation across AWS EKS, Terraform, and security-enabled Kubernetes environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
• 7+ years of automation engineering, software engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience with coding languages (e.g., JavaScript, C++, Python, Java) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory, CircleCI, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Identify pain points in data/analytics model development and automate workflows to create an unattended delivery pipeline.
• Collaborate with product development, architecture, data engineering and testing teams to automate build/release processes.
• Develop and improve automation for containerized workloads on AWS EKS to enable efficient model deployment.
• Build automated testing and environment provisioning (Terraform) to support quality objectives.
• Design and maintain AWS EKS infrastructure with security and DR planning; implement OAuth 2.0 in Kubernetes environments.
• Lead cross-functional teams, mentor members, and communicate design/implementation to stakeholders.
• Promote automation across the data management and analytics delivery organization.
