Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing machine learning models and deploying them to production systems.
• Strong background in applied ML science, end-to-end ML engineering, or a blend with experience in recommendation systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI and LLM techniques and knowledge of the modern AI landscape.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Databricks, Spark, and SQL.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, develop, iterate on, and productionize personalization algorithms for the recommendation stack.
• Apply AI and LLM techniques to improve recommendations and evaluation methods.
• Contribute insights on data, features, and objectives for models and guide teammates.
• Drive technical vision and roadmap for personalization and high-impact opportunities.
• Design and run offline and online experiments; improve evaluation systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Data partners; communicate methodologies clearly.
• Build production-worthy, maintainable ML systems and support production issues.
