Job summary

Wirestock is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer in San Francisco to lead the data-science function powering our content platform. You will drive curation, QC, and enrichment of a petabyte-scale library using computer vision and AI, and shape data strategy with cross-functional partners.

You will build scalable evaluation models, manage large-scale data systems on AWS and on-site, and mentor a high-performing ML team while reporting to the CTO.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data-science teams focused on computer vision and multimodal content.
• Proven ability to design scalable data platforms for petabyte-scale datasets.
• Strong background in CV/AI algorithms and big-data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-science function powering the content platform, including curation, QC, and enrichment.
• Define grading standards and automate evaluation models for diverse content types.
• Build and manage big data infrastructure across AWS and on-site lakehouse environments.
• Recruit, train, and oversee a growing ML team and report to CTO.
