Job summary
Insurcomm Restoration is seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician to manage emergency restoration crews on fire, water, mold, and storm jobs in the Hooksett area. You will set safety and quality standards, direct field crews, and ensure efficient project execution.
This role requires hands-on leadership and strict adherence to IICRC guidelines. The position focuses on field operations, rapid response, and teamwork.
Qualifications
- IICRC WRT certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Prior experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a crew and manage job site workflow.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong social awareness and customer service mindset.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Teams and complete onsite documentation using a smartphone and industry software (Proven Jobs, Encircle, Docusketch).
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise mitigation crews on residential and commercial job sites.
- Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage.
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation per IICRC standards.
- Develop drying plans and monitor moisture goals.
- Remove and dispose of damaged materials safely.
- Decontaminate, clean, and deodorize affected spaces.
- Collaborate with Contents Division to clean, pack, store salvageable items.
- Document job progress with photos and moisture readings using PSA and other software.
- Communicate clearly with clients, adjusters, and internal teams.
- Maintain a clean, safe job site at all times.
- Ensure proper setup, operation, and storage of tools and equipment.
- Train and mentor Technicians on safety standards.
- Follow warehouse and vehicle protocols with daily consumables tracking.
- Perform other duties to support team needs.

As a Lead Mitigation Technician, you will take charge on emergency restoration projects for families and businesses affected by fire, water, mold, sewer, and storm damage. You are not only on the front lines of recovery—you lead the crew, set the standard for safety and professionalism, and ensure projects are executed efficiently and in accordance with company and IICRC standards. - Lead and supervise mitigation crews on residential and commercial job sites
- Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage caused by fire, water, mold, and weather-related events
- Perform and oversee water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation services in accordance with IICRC standards
- Develop drying plans and monitor progress to ensure proper equipment placement and moisture goals are met
- Remove and dispose of damaged building materials safely and efficiently
- Decontaminate, clean, and deodorize affected interior spaces
- Collaborate with the Contents Division to clean, pack, and store salvageable items
- Document job progress through photos, moisture readings, and detailed notes using PSA and other required software
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, adjusters, and internal teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
- Ensure proper setup, operation, cleaning, and storage of tools and equipment
- Train and mentor Mitigation Technicians to uphold quality and safety standards
- Follow warehouse and vehicle protocols, including daily documentation of consumables and equipment use
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business
