Driftwood Christian Church (DCC) in Cherokee, OK is searching for a full-time Lead Minister who is grounded in scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit. Our hope is to deepen the discipleship of our members and reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our compensation package includes a fair salary and a parsonage and paid utilities.

Responsibilities

• The lead minister will preach on Sunday,
• Share shepherding with the Elders,
• Encourage the Deacons in service, and
• Support the teachers, youth leaders and others in their ministries.

Driftwood Christian Church (DCC) is a multi-generational, visionary, independent Christian Church in Driftwood, OK with a rich history and a bright future. DCC has proactively renovated its facilities over the last 10 years. We purchased two buildings dedicated to youth ministry and outreach without incurring debt. DCC is actively involved in missions at both local and international levels. Our congregation serves in worship, teaching, youth ministry, and other areas of service. They also engage the surrounding communities through law enforcement, fire, politics, education and agriculture. Based in a rural setting, 100+ people regularly attend worship coming from several neighboring communities.
