Job summary

Candidates should have a high school diploma, ServSafe certification, and a minimum of 2 years food service experience. Additional responsibilities include maintaining sanitation standards and assisting kitchen staff. The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and work in hot environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ food service experience.
• Knowledge of large-quantity cooking, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Support Team Leader in daily kitchen operations and food production flow.

Skills

Knowledge of food preparation

Ability to use professional food service equipment

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to work in hot kitchen environments

Education
