Job summary

Fargo Woodworks is seeking a hands-on working lead for its two-person Metal Fab team. You will fabricate custom furniture components from start to finish, reading drawings and specifications to ensure quality and timely delivery.

In this role, you will lay out, cut, fit, MIG weld, grind, finish, and inspect work while owning the production schedule and coordinating daily priorities to meet deadlines. On-site, Fargo, ND.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal fabrication and MIG welding.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small fabrication team.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and translate specs into work.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on fabrication for custom metal components from start to finish.
• Read and interpret drawings, dimensions and project requirements.
• Lay out, cut, fit, MIG weld, grind, finish and inspect work to high standards.
• Own the Metal Fab production schedule and meet internal handoff dates.
