Job summary

BioTalent is seeking a Lead Medical Writer to join its scientific team. You will lead development of medical communications across diverse therapeutic areas, work directly with clients, and mentor junior writers to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (PhD/PharmD/MD).
• Experience in a Medical Communications agency.
• Proven ability to manage complex writing projects independently.
• Strong knowledge of publication guidelines and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of medical communications materials.
• Develop manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress materials, slide decks.
• Serve as scientific lead on projects, ensuring client objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with pharma/biotech clients providing scientific recommendations.
• Mentor junior medical writers and support their development.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to scientific strategy, content planning, and new business initiatives.
