Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital is seeking a Lead Medical Dosimetrist to design and evaluate radiation treatment plans under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. The role includes image registration, segmentation, plan development, dosimetry calculations, and quality control of plans.

You will provide daily operations oversight for the assigned clinic and contribute to clinical education and research efforts.

Qualifications

• Board Certification by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board is required.
• 4+ years of relevant dosimetry experience; 7+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and generate radiation treatment plans under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Perform segmentation, image registration, plan design and development.
• Conduct dosimetry calculations and quality control of plans.
• Schedule and manage workload; supervise clinic operations at the assigned location.
• Participate in education and research activities and contribute to clinical trials.
