Job Title: Lead Medical Coordinator

Sign On Bonus (new hires only): $3,000
Serves as the primary liaison with health care providers to ensure clients receive comprehensive and timely medical care. Coordinates all aspects of client health, including primary care appointments, immunizations, medication administration, and ongoing medical needs. Ensures compliance with California Community Care Licensing (Title 22), Department of Health, and County Public Health Department requirements. Oversees medical documentation, monitors health outcomes, and provides guidance to staff on medical protocols to maintain a high standard of care. Ensure a safe, trauma-informed, and nurturing environment for clients.

Directly supervises employees in the Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Supervise, coaches, and mentors staff providing guidance to their work and learning including, when necessary, corrective/disciplinary action in a timely and professional manner.

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a bachelor’s degree or a higher health-related qualification (such as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) and two to four years’ experience working with children and families.
Bilingual in Spanish requested but not required. Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.
Comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, algebra and advanced statistical theory. Work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations, and proofs of theorems.
Apply logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Dealing with nonverbal symbolism (e.g., formulas and equations) in difficult phases. Deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
