Job summary

Baltimore Medical System (BMS) is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient care, prepare rooms and equipment, and maintain records. The MA will interact professionally with patients, families, physicians, and staff, and may lead process improvement teams.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited MA program, and current CPR and MA certifications. Direct supervision by Clinical Manager or RN is described in the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited medical assistant program or higher.
• Current CPR certification from recognized bodies.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification from approved agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and procedure performance.
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits.
