UCI Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support an outpatient clinical setting. The incumbent will perform non-licensed medical care and handle clerical tasks, and will have lead responsibilities for other medical assistants.

Candidates should have Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate, English communication skills, and BLS certification upon hire. Preferred qualifications include phlebotomy certification and bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations.

Formación

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• BLS certification upon hire.

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Preferred qualifications include phlebotomy certification, knowledge of university/medical center policies, flexibility for variable shifts, bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese.
