Job summary

Virtua Health in Hammonton is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support exam preparation, specimen collection, vaccines, and EKG/functional tests under physician supervision. You will ensure timely chart review, pre-visit planning, and patient readiness for visits across the care team.

The role requires 1-3 years of MA experience, an accredited MA program completion, and active MA certification with BLS. On-site position with full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a medical office preferred.
• Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant; BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate chart review and pre-visit planning with test results and consultations.
• Oversee patient flow and support MA duties: vital signs, room prep, phlebotomy, vaccines, and diagnostic tests as directed by the physician.
