Job summary

The Providence Saint John's Medical Foundation seeks a Medical Assistant IV to lead and support clinical teams while providing high-quality patient care under licensed practitioner delegation.

The MA IV role requires advanced clinical skills across complex specialties, mentorship of ambassadors and preceptors, and a strong commitment to compassionate care within our patient-centered system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 3 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 3 years experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• 6 months working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years, OR 18 months experience in a Lead MA role in a clinical setting in lieu of

The Medical Assistant (MA) IV works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA IV is capable of performing all aspects of the MA I and MA II and MA III roles. Additionally, the MA IV serves in a leader role or is highly skilled and trained in multiple complex specialty areas and oversees ambassadors, change agents, quality champions, and preceptors within the clinic.

Required Qualifications

Pay Range: $28.93 - $44.27
