Job summary

Baptist Health in Florida is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform laboratory analyses accurately and deliver timely results that support patient care.

Requires an Associate degree in Medical Technology or related field, a State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license, and BLS certification for BOS Urgent Care locations; a minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred. The role involves supporting leadership and training staff.

Performs laboratory analyses in an accurate, timely, courteous and effective manner to support comprehensive patient care. Supports the leadership team, providing guidance and training for staff. Estimated pay range for this position is $37.98 - $49.37 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• Associates.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support.
• Clinical Laboratory Technologist.

Additional Qualifications

• External candidate requirements: Bachelor‘s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, Biological, Chemical, Physical or related science or equivalent education as required by the State of Florida.
• Internal candidate requirements: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related science or equivalent education as required by the State of Florida.
• All candidates require a State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in appropriate discipline(s) with complete knowledge of medical technology theory and practice.
• Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License preferred.
• BLS certification required for BOS Urgent Care locations only.
