Job summary

The Bungalows at Nevada is seeking a Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide to support resident care on the Sun-Thurs 2pm-10pm shift. You will monitor residents' health, assist with medication administration, and collaborate with Wellness staff to maintain quality care and support families.

Requirements include certification as a Medication Aide, at least one year working with elders, and ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Medication Aide and meet state requirements for medication aide.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment / PSP process.
• Ensures proper follow through and documentation for residents with a change in clinical care needs.
• Supports the Wellness Nurse with completing the clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSP to reflect the resident monthly.
• Informs the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director of any changes in medication or service level that may result in a higher tier level or potential move-out.
• Assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly for each resident prior to completion of monthly wellness visit.
• Assist with resident care as needed.
