Sunrise Senior Living in Kennebunk, ME is seeking a Lead Medication Aide/Med Tech to serve as the shift-level clinical leader ensuring safe medication administration, documentation accuracy, and team accountability. You will mentor and coach Medication Aides/Med Techs while maintaining infection control standards and a well-organized medication cart.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR and complete narcotic counts.
• Monitor for refusals, PRNs, and resident condition changes.
• Verify new orders and reconcile physician directives.
• Lead shift crossovers and support staffing coverage.
• Mentor and coach Medication Aides/Med Techs.
• Maintain medication cart, room compliance, and infection control standards.
• Communicate concerns to Wellness Nurse/RCD promptly.
