Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Fremont, CA is seeking a Sr Manager, Product Sourcing for mechanical and power commodities to lead strategy and execution across hyperscale data center programs. You will influence supplier choices, drive cost governance, and ensure supply continuity while managing risk in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

You will directly lead a team of 6–8 Product Sourcing Managers, collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and finance, and report to executives on capacity

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sourcing or commodity management, preferably data center hardware.
• Proven experience leading sourcing or commodity teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, power, and thermal supply bases.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and supplier strategy for mechanical rack, chassis, power, thermal, and liquid cooling.
• Directly manage and develop a team of 6–8 Product Sourcing Managers with clear priorities and accountability.
• Own supplier strategy, capacity planning, and cost governance to support rapid demand growth and NPI ramps.
• Drive supplier selection, negotiations, and terms including pricing, lead time, and risk mitigation.
• Manage geopolitical and supply chain risks including tariffs and localization strategies.
• Partner with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and trade compliance to ensure aligned execution.
• Establish sourcing governance and KPIs to improve execution discipline and supplier performance.
• Support executive reviews with clear communication on cost and risk.
