Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in mechanical construction estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating software and industry tools.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial construction projects, including take-offs.
• Lead bid preparation with thorough proposals, bid forms, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze project costs, identify savings, and propose value engineering options.
• Cultivate relationships with vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with project teams.
• Use estimating software to perform take-offs and cost calculations.
• Maintain meticulous records and generate detailed estimates and reports.
