Job summary

Alumni Founders is seeking a design engineer to lead the full design cycle for rocket structures, from concept through testing. You will collaborate across teams to reduce mass and optimize components for manufacturability and flight hardware production.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years in design engineering, with at least 1 year focused on structural strengths, and proficiency in CAD and FEA tools like Nastran or ANSYS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of design engineering experience, including >1 year focused on structural strengths.
• Proficiency in CAD packages and structural analysis tools such as Nastran or ANSYS.
