Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Product Engineering team, leading design and development of complex subsystems for next-generation medical devices. You will guide concept through production, performing analyses and design reviews to ensure robust, compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of design experience in regulated environments, strong GD&T and FMEA skills, and hands-on NX/Teamcenter expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of product design and development experience.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments.
• Advanced proficiency with NX or comparable 3D CAD software.
• Experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.
• Strong GD&T, FMEA, DFMA, and manufacturing knowledge.
• Strong electromechanical design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical subsystems.
• Drive product development activities from concept, prototyping, verification, validation, and production release.
• Perform engineering analysis, tolerance stack-ups, and design reviews.
• Create and approve engineering drawings utilizing GD&T best practices.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Partner with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and service teams.
• Execute verification testing and document results for regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor junior engineers.
