Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 9+ years of relevant experience, or 7+ with graduate degree; 13+ years without degree.
  • Experience with CAD software (Solid Edge, SolidWorks, NX).
  • GD&T application and interpretation per ASME Y14.5 and Y14.100.
  • Experience with dimensional stack-up/tolerance analysis.
  • Active U.S. security clearance preferred/required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and designers.
  • Support hiring, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Define, maintain, and improve development processes and best practices.
  • Drive mechanical design decisions across new product development and legacy support.
  • Prepare and present materials for internal and customer design reviews.
