Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking an Engineering Lead – Cold Box Packaging to provide technical leadership for the design, packaging, integration, and delivery of cold box systems supporting clean energy solutions.

This role partners with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical/Controls, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Project Management, Quality, and field teams to deliver reliable packaged systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• Eight plus years of engineering experience involving cryogenic systems, process equipment, packaged systems, pressure systems, or industrial equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary engineering activities.
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, piping systems, pressure-containing systems, and equipment packaging.
• Experience interpreting P&ID’s, equipment specifications, piping layouts and engineering drawings.
• Experience with 3D CAD Design systems and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of applicable engineering codes and standards.
• Professional Engineer license a plus.
• Proven relationship management and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering development of cold box packaging systems from concept through final delivery.
• Establish packaging concepts, engineering requirements, design criteria, and technical approaches.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and resolve technical interfaces between engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical direction to engineers and designers supporting cold box projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, calculations, drawings, specifications, and design documentation within assigned authority.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, design practices, templates and best practices for packaging.
