You will design HVAC and central utility systems for cGMP spaces and mentor a team of about ten engineers. You'll lead engineering design, perform load calculations, review work as engineer of record, and collaborate with process, electrical, architecture, and commissioning teams on renovations, expansions, and new facilities, including aseptic processing and

Qualifications

Professional engineer license is required.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
Significant mechanical design experience in pharma/biotech facilities with cGMP work.

Responsibilities

Design HVAC and process support systems for cGMP spaces, including cleanrooms and aseptic areas.
Design central utility systems such as chiller plants.
Perform load calculations and equipment selection, and write specifications.
Serve as engineer of record and review the mechanical team's work.
Mentor and develop engineers in the group.
Work directly with clients and support proposals and business development.
Coordinate with process, electrical, architecture, and commissioning teams.
Support construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and site visits.
