Honeywell Aerospace Engines and Power Systems seeks a senior mechanical design engineer to advance FanC turbomachinery for gas turbine engines. You will apply mechanics, simulations and testing to optimize rotating and static components and contribute to diverse program work.
You will mentor juniors, lead design reviews, and collaborate across disciplines while supporting fielded products and new developments for military and commercial programs.
Be part of a team responsible for the mechanical design, simulation, analysis and test of fans and compressors (FanC) in gas turbine engine (turbomachinery) applications within Honeywell Aerospace Engines and Power Systems
You will support currently fielded products and contribute towards development of new products for a variety of turbofan, turboshaft and auxiliary power unit (APU) applications
You will apply principles of design, physics, mathematics and software development to perform a broad variety of engineering tasks
You will contribute to continuous improvement of design, analysis and simulation methods
