Job summary

HydroGraph is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead equipment and machine-design for our Advanced Manufacturing team. You will innovate, model, design, build, and validate equipment to meet new product requirements, working closely with R&D and Process Engineering to translate needs into design criteria.

You will simulate designs (CFD, thermal) and perform offline validation before prototypes are machined.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering with hands‑on machine/equipment design experience.
• Strong understanding of machine design principles, drawings, and GD&T.
• Experience designing and validating mechanical equipment like pressure vessels or machine systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design equipment solutions for new products.
• Modify existing equipment to improve reliability, safety, or throughput.
• Collaborate with other engineers on drawings and designs; translate requirements into design criteria.
• Simulate designs (CFD/thermal) to validate performance before build.
