Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC in Fayetteville, AR seeks a Lead or Senior Mechanical / Process Design Engineer to guide the design of industrial process utilities, piping, plumbing and HVAC for manufacturing facilities.

You will mentor junior engineers, interface with clients and vendors, and deliver complete design packages from concept through construction documents, with emphasis on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• PE license is required.
• 10-20 years of experience in mechanical HVAC and piping design for industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of ASME codes and relevant standards.
• Ability to prepare and coordinate drawings, calculations and specs.
• Experience with field evaluations and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and process utility design for industrial facilities, with food/beverage experience preferred.
• Design utility piping, process piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems for plants.
• Develop layouts and packages for compressed air, steam, condensate and pumps.
• Perform engineering calculations, sizing, layouts, and evaluations.
• Prepare and review AutoCAD 2D drawings and Revit 3D models.
• Lead design efforts and mentor engineers and designers.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and project teams.
• Deliver work within schedules, budgets, and quality targets.
• Support continuous improvement through feedback and design best practices.
