As a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead highly complex mechanical hardware designs for customer or innovation projects. Additional responsibilities include ensuring technical milestones are achieved, guiding other team members’ designs, leading technical design reviews, and ensuring specification requirements input and design outputs align. Mikros Technologies (a Jabil company) liquid cooling systems are deployed in servers in large AI data centers and help to increase the energy efficiency of these sites. We also make active liquid cooling systems that are utilized in semiconductor test equipment for providing fast thermal control to maintain a constant temperature under a varying heat load. This role can be based remotely within the US or onsite in Austin, TX. Relocation assistance available for onsite candidates. Competitive salary with bonus opportunities. This is a management level position with people management responsibilities.
Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required. Travel requirements: Domestic and/or Global, up to 30%. Remote or climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.
The pay range for this role is $115,500 - $207,900. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
