Job summary

Edison Smart® seeks a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer in San Antonio, TX to lead the design and development of a cutting-edge autonomous robotic system used in rugged environments. This role requires hands-on leadership of mechanical design efforts on a primarily on-site basis.

You’ll oversee the creation of reliable, innovative robotics systems, ensuring robust materials, thermal management, and integration with electro-mechanical subsystems in a fast-growing robotics business.

Qualifications

• Understanding of material selection and thermal management.

Join a growing Robotics business as a Mechanical Design Engineer. You’ll join a small team to lead design and development of a cutting-edge autonomous robotic system which is used in rugged environments.

You’ll have opportunity to oversee mechanical design efforts and deliver innovative robotics systems.

This position is based in San Antonio; you’ll need to be available for mostly on-site work.
