Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Loveland, Ohio, seeks a Mechanical Assembly Lead responsible for the assembly of dry ice production and blasting equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 2-3 years of machine building experience, and proficiency in reading assembly drawings. Key responsibilities include performing complex assembly tasks, providing support to the production team, and ensuring high-quality outputs. Overtime availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of prior machine building experience, small engine repair, or automotive experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and advanced sub-assembly and final assembly of products according to engineering drawings.
• Provide backup leadership to the Production Supervisor.
• Pull parts from the kanban system and follow inventory control procedures.
• Build machine sub-assemblies to specifications within established build times.
• Troubleshoot any machine that does not pass shakedown.
• Maintain work area clean, safe, and orderly.

Skills

Ability to lead and cross train team members

Solid mechanical aptitude

Good dexterity and facility in the use of a variety of hand tools

Proficient at reading assembly drawings

Troubleshoots and problem solves well

Proficient computer skills for occasional operational tasks

Available and willing to work overtime when needed

Education

HS Diploma or GED

Vocational school, trade school, or formal OTJ apprenticeship training
