Job summary

Pearce Services is hiring an Advanced MCE Wind Technician to lead field work on-site with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will perform up-tower repairs and diagnostics on wind turbine components and supervise lifting operations at heights. 100% travel is required, and you must be able to climb towers and read schematics.

Qualifications

• Direct turbine experience and ability to read schematics.
• Experience in lifting operations and safety checks.
• Must be able to climb and work at height safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members by supporting lifting operations of equipment at heights over 250’.
• Oversee lifting operations following verification of large components and lifting plans.
• Conduct safe and efficient repairs to Wind Turbine electrical systems.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as an Authorized Person.
• Conduct pre-task planning, JHAs, RA, and daily safety discussions.
• Interact with vendors and customers professionally.
• Document work and provide feedback to Safety and Quality teams.
