Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer to support a critical mission in Dayton, Ohio. This role uses SysML v2 to develop system reference models, conduct complex analysis, and mentor junior MBSE engineers while contributing on high-visibility programs.

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years MBSE experience, strong SysML modeling skills, and a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 5-10 years of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
• Strong experience with SysML modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain system reference models in SysML v2
• Perform and lead system analysis efforts
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior MBSE engineers
• Develop analysis reports and executive-level briefings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Work independently to solve complex technical challenges
• Support mission-critical intelligence and defense initiatives
