Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Portfolio MBSE Engineering Lead to support a classified program developing next-generation EO/IR systems. The role leads model architecture, MBSE tool integration, and automation across a multi-program portfolio.

The ideal candidate has extensive MBSE experience in defense or aerospace, strong Cameo Systems Modeler skills, and a track record of reference architectures and model-driven deliverables. Active Secret clearance with SAP eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of model architecture across a portfolio of programs.
• Design and maintain MBSE reference architectures supporting multiple production systems.
• Develop and manage complex system models using Cameo (2022).
• Establish and maintain model-to-document pipelines to automate generation of program deliverables directly from models.
• Capture, manage, and trace system requirements within the MBSE environment.
• Conduct trade studies across existing and emerging system models to support engineering and program decisions.
• Integrate MBSE tools with requirements management platforms and enterprise engineering workflows.
• Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and usability as a single source of truth across the organization.
• Train and mentor engineers on MBSE practices, model interaction, and data entry standards.
• Collaborate with systems, software, and program leadership to align modeling outputs with mission objectives and delivery requirements.
