The Systems Engineer will work in a matrixed organization at Leidos, supporting multiple programs at once in a variety of engineering fields with all different team environments, from the large-scale programs that Leidos is the prime contractor for, to smaller-scale programs for which Leidos provides support as a subcontractor to companies in the top 100 DoD contractors. Leidos Dynetics is seeking a passionate, detailed-oriented problem-solver to serve as a Model-Based Systems Engineer to support the Hypersonics portfolio.
As an integral member of a Hypersonic platform development team, the successful candidate will assist in standardizing digital engineering and systems engineering practices and tools, including Cameo, to identify challenges and formulate candidate solutions within complex, highly interdependent systems and programs. A strong Digital Engineering background, coupled with traditional systems engineering experience is what is required for this position.
The Systems Engineer will utilize MBSE tools to develop system models and simulations for analysis and validation, work closely with stakeholders to define system requirements and constraints, and conduct trade-off analyses to optimize system characteristics. The selected candidate will develop and maintain system architectures and interfaces, collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate system components, and support the verification and validation of systems using models. Additionally, the candidate will provide technical expertise and guidance on MBSE practices, ensuring effective collaboration and successful project outcomes.
Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master of Science in System Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, and/or have at least 2-4 years of direct systems engineering experience.

Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
