Job summary

Mathnasium Learning Centers is seeking part-time educators to deliver individualized math instruction in a group setting, after school and on weekends. You will assess progress, communicate with parents, and tutor in-center, online, or hybrid formats using the Mathnasium Method.

The role emphasizes strong math skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to balance leadership with instruction, with ongoing training and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Pass the intro math assessment.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
