Job summary

Saint Luke's is seeking a Lead Materials Equipment Associate to manage supply chain activities in defined areas. The role requires inventory control, device tracking, reports, and collaboration across teams. Travel to Saint Luke's facilities in the Kansas City metro is expected. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of inventory practices, strong problem-solving, and basic MS Office/MMIS skills. Certification in CMRP/CPIM or Lean is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track, distribute, recover, and inventory Alaris device related items.
• Use AeroScount for documentation, maintenance, and battery life updates.
• Tag equipment and manage reports.
• Cross-train to perform all materials associate activities.
• Audit inventory locations for regulatory compliance ( cleanliness, organization, expired supplies).
• Participate in collaborative projects and drive improvements with lean methods.
• Ensure staff compliance with hospital, state and federal regulations.

Job description

The Lead Materials Equipment Associate is responsible for maintaining all supply chain elements for their defined/designated areas of responsibility. The Lead may be assigned to focus on specific projects, areas of the hospital or working with Materials Associates. Position will be expected to travel to other Saint Luke's facilities within the Kansas City metro.

Shift: Monday- Friday 7:30am -4:00pm

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Alaris device related tracking, distribution, recovery, and inventory.
• Utilize AeroScount program for documentation, maintenance and updating device battery life, tagging equipment as needed, and managing reports.
• Cross trained to perform all activities of a materials associate.
• Achieve quality and safety expectations including auditing inventory locations for regulatory compliance such as cleanliness, organization, expired supplies, ceiling heights and supplies put away in the correct locations.
• Participation in collaborative projects (with clinical teams, other Hospitals, corporate supply chain team, etc....). Facilitate improvements through PDCA cycles, exceptional analytics/analysis and lean methods.
• Ensure staff compliance with department, hospital, state and federal regulations.

Standard Qualifications

• A knowledge of inventory management practices is required. An ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks at one time, diffuse urgent scenarios, and excellent problem-solving and customer service skills is required.
• None required; AHRMM CMRP, APICS CPIM or Lean process improvement certification preferred.
• Mid-level computer skills: Excel, Word, Internet, MMIS, required.
