Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a Construction Material Handling Foreman to supervise and coordinate the assembly, installation, and repair of material handling systems for commercial and industrial construction projects. Role requires traveling to Edinburg/McAllen or Lockhart areas and coordinating on-site crews to meet project requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, and a proven track record in construction

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to supervise craft workers and coordinate activities.
  • Strong reading of drawings, plans, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Commitment to safety and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, inspect and perform assembly and installation of material handling components.
  • Plan and assign tasks, oversee schedules and manpower to meet project timelines.
  • Coach and mentor craft workers, ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Schedule activities and operate equipment safely on site.
  • Verify staff certifications and enforce safety on the job site.
  • Inspect progress and finished work for conformance to specs.
  • Coordinate material placement, storage and inventory for projects.
  • Verify delivered materials match submittals and drawings.
  • Address conflicts or ambiguities in contract documents.
  • Perform other duties as required.
