Job description

At nTop, we are passionate about building next-generation engineering solutions. We enable the most innovative engineering companies in the world to transform how they develop, test, and manufacture better products faster. Our software has been used to engineer mission-critical satellites, deliver stronger and lighter medical implants for patients in need, and allow engineers to create complex, high-performance products with revolutionary speed and accuracy.

We are looking to add smart ambitious teammates who are passionate about problem-solving and cutting-edge technology to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Overview:

We're looking for a Lead Marketing Designer who is equal parts creative strategist, cross-functional collaborator, and hands-on designer. You will take ownership of our visual brand expression across every customer touchpoint, from paid campaigns and website experiences to sales presentations and product storytelling.

This isn't just a design execution role. You will be a key contributor in driving business impact by prioritizing high-leverage creative work, developing smart briefs, and guiding agency partners to produce high-quality design. If you are energized by collaborating with product marketers to simplify complex concepts, partnering with demand generation teams to optimize performance, and pushing creative work to deliver measurable results, this is your role.

This is an in-office role (3+ days a week in office) based in New York City, reporting to the VP, Marketing.

What You'll Do:

  • Translate high-level marketing strategies into compelling creative assets across ads, video, email, landing pages, presentations, sales collateral, and more

  • Take incoming project requests and proactively manage priorities based on impact, pipeline needs, and business goals

  • Write clear, strategic creative briefs and manage external design or agency partners to execute high-quality work at scale

  • Partner with product marketing to bring complex ideas to life in visual formats that drive clarity and engagement

  • Collaborate with demand generation teams to review creative performance and make data-informed recommendations for iteration

  • Work closely with product managers and our technical marketing manager to create visual content that showcases the product and helps prospects clearly understand its capabilities and impact

  • Create design assets across multiple mediums including static graphics, motion, GIFs, video, and web using a variety of tools and formats

  • Design for the website and partner with agency developers to implement high-quality, performance-optimized visual experiences

Key Opportunities for Growth:

  • Partner with leadership to evolve and scale our visual identity as the company grows

  • Influence campaign strategy by bringing a design-led point of view to creative performance and audience engagement

  • Help build the foundation for an in-house creative team as the organization scales

  • Experiment with motion, 3D, and interactive design formats to push boundaries and increase engagement

  • Help establish scalable creative processes that enable speed, quality, and consistency as we grow

Required Experience:

  • Excellent communicator who thrives on clarity, asks sharp questions, and brings structure to ambiguity

  • Strong project ownership and the ability to prioritize your own work and steer others to meet deadlines independently

  • 5 or more years of experience in marketing design, ideally in a B2B SaaS or high-growth tech environment

  • Proven ability to turn complex messaging into clear, visually engaging creative

  • Deep understanding of performance design principles and how creative impacts results across paid, owned, and earned channels

  • Experience designing for digital formats including ads, email, and web, as well as motion formats like GIFs and video, and presentations such as sales decks and event materials

  • Fluency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and motion or video editing tools such as After Effects, Premiere, or similar

  • A strong visual portfolio showcasing multi-channel campaign work, design systems, and a passion for brand storytelling

  • Experience collaborating with agency partners, from creative brief development through review and delivery

  • A customer-obsessed mindset and constant curiosity about how creative is performing across channels and how it can be improved

Compensation:

  • $110,000-$125,000 annually plus options
