Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Lead Manufacturing Technician to lead a team of technicians on a 3rd shift on-site. The role focuses on guiding manufacturing processes, ensuring safety and quality, and driving continuous improvement across the cell.

You will report to the Manufacturing Manager and work a Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm–6:00 am schedule. This position emphasizes problem solving, standard work, and rapid corrective actions in a high tempo environment.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and tools, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Ability to lead a team effectively and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of manufacturing technicians and operators, providing guidance to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee daily manufacturing performance, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Implement process improvements and troubleshooting to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure all equipment and tooling are functioning properly to maintain performance.
• Help establish TPM and process monitoring to validate process compliance.
• Audit SOS adherence within the cell to ensure operator and equipment compliance.
• Assist in rapid problem solving to identify sources of variation and escapes.
• Develop and utilize standard work to ensure consistent product and process flow.
