Job summary

GE Vernova in Findlay Township, PA is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Quality Specialist to oversee quality across our manufacturing operations, drive process excellence, and maintain site-wide quality objectives.

You will lead the quality team, manage CAPAs, collaborate with Engineering, Production and Sourcing, support FAT, audits, and product line certifications, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and Lean/Six Sigma practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 7-8 years of professional, hands-on experience in quality management or process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Quality team, overseeing requirements from incoming material inspection to end-customer delivery.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and engage with customers to ensure on-time quality fulfillment.
• Lead or support product line certifications in coordination with Engineering and external agencies.
• Drive proactive quality improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and support a zero-defect culture.
• Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation to ensure compliance and accessibility.
• Monitor quality metrics and KPIs; lead root-cause analysis and develop CAPA with owners.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage calibration systems for monitoring and measuring instruments.
• Mentor team members, providing training on quality principles, processes, and standards.
