Job summary

Integra LifeSciences Corp in Connecticut is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Operator to direct daily manufacturing activities on the floor, align with production schedule, resources, and priorities, and drive quality throughput.

You will oversee training, investigations, procedure development, and inventory, supervise Operators indirectly, and contribute to a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement in the skin suite.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; related science degree a plus.
• 3+ years in manufacturing (Medical Device or Pharmaceutical) preferred.
• Basic computer skills for email and data entry.
• Must read, write and speak English; clear communication.
• Able to work overtime.
• Understand product flow and chemical processes.
• Willing to train others and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources to meet daily schedule needs.
• Partner with area management to identify overtime needs.
• Communicate with support groups on daily processing needs.
• Provide feedback to management on operator and process performance.
• Lead and oversee manufacturing operations inside the skin suite.
• Own operator training for all new Manufacturing Operators.
• Lead troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Maintain batch records and in-process checks.
• Document activities in real time; ensure good documentation.
• Support investigations as subject matter expert.
• Manage inventories of process and components.
