RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee advanced breast imaging and mentor staff at the Morris Cancer Center. You will position patients for mammography, select proper exposure factors, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.

The role emphasizes safety, infection control, equipment maintenance, and daily quality control checks within a fast-paced imaging team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA accredited School of Radiology Program and required initial breast imaging training.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and Mammography with NJ State license.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and lead a team.

Responsabilités

• Supervising staff technologists.
• Scheduling coverage for hours of operation and ensuring supplies are ordered timely.
• Reporting safety issues and maintaining infection control standards.
• Positioning patients for routine and diagnostic breast imaging.
• Selecting exposure factors to produce optimum images per radiation safety guidelines.
• Assisting radiologist with interventional breast procedures.
• Maintaining equipment through daily quality control tests.
