Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to join our team, delivering high-quality patient care across sites.

You will collaborate with a Training Mammography Director to ensure onboarding, MQSA and ACR standards are met while maintaining patient safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) (M) certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
• BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with RIS, imaging equipment and PACS required.
• Ability to maintain all required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment per company policies and protocols.
• Travel to RadNet sites to assess training and support needs for Mammography Technologists.
• Onboard and train Mammography Technologists ensuring MQSA/ACR requirements are met.
• Provide feedback and review of Technologist work as per department guidelines.
• Collaborate to develop efficiency standards for imaging center workflows to meet productivity targets.
• Safeguard patient information and medications on site; handle patient finances securely.

When you join us as a Lead Mammography Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.
• Travel to RadNet sites within the practice subsidiary to assess overall training and support needs for Mammography Technologists.
• Works directly with the Training Mammography Director to ensure that, Mammography Technologists are onboarded and trained appropriately, and MQSA and ACR requirements, including quality assurance, clinical image quality, and quality control, are met throughout the region
• Technologist Image Review – Provides routine and ad hoc Technologist feedback and review, consistent with department guidelines
• Radiologist Image Review/Peer Review measures to certify that an image review exists for each Radiologist at each location where they read
• Collaborates with technologists to develop efficiency standards for workflow that ensure each imaging center meets or exceeds productivity measures and daily volume expectations.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(R) (M) certification
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
• Must have BLS certification
• A familiarity with and ability to use equipment in assigned modality including RIS, imaging equipment and PACS.
• A demonstrated the ability to maintain all required quality standards

Pay Range: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
