Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform advanced imaging and coordinate workflow within the breast imaging center. You will act as a working technologist and distribute workload to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements include 3 years of clinical experience as a registered mammography technologist, ARRT breast sonography or bone densitometry certification, and CPR/BLS. Weekend rotation and weekday day shifts apply with no holidays or on-call.

Qualifications

• 3 years clinical experience as a registered mammography technologist.
• Certification for breast sonography and/or bone densitometry.
• ARRT certification and CPR/BLS as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow and department staffing.
• Perform advanced imaging procedures in mammography.
• Monitor supply utilization and equipment quality control.
• Mentor staff and lead training for new hires.
• Assist in talent acquisition and performance feedback.
