Job summary

The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) seeks a skilled maintenance worker to perform a variety of tasks in maintaining SCOE buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds. The role requires reliable, hands-on problem solving and adherence to safety standards.

Under general supervision, the incumbent will carry out routine repairs, respond to maintenance requests, and assist with preventative upkeep across campuses and sites in Sacramento County.

• Combination of education, training and experience to perform duties.

The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is one of 58 county offices of education in California. SCOE staff work year-round providing services that complement and supplement those offered by public school districts in Sacramento County. SCOE provides technical assistance, curriculum and instructional support, staff development, financial advice, and oversight to Sacramento County school districts.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting Salary: $29.98 per hour with 5 annual incremental increases to $38.33 per hour.
• Benefits allowance: Up to $1,169.58 per month for single health coverage, $1,844.58/2-party, or $2,044.58/family (medical, dental, life, and vision). TSA options available.
