Job summary

MRPC in Butler, WI seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance operations, mentor a team of technicians, and ensure safety, quality and efficiency in all activities. This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise with supervisory responsibilities.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and an accredited journeyman apprenticeship in machine repair, with 3–5 years of experience in diversified machine operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Accredited journeyman apprenticeship in machine repair preferred.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Knowledge of PLCs and general machining technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily maintenance oversight and team leadership for safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and LOTO procedures.
• Oversee maintenance work orders, PMs and equipment data in ERP.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and parts procurement.
• Mentor junior technicians and support new equipment installations.
